Welcome to the section dedicated to the Training Department of Italian Division. Through these pages you will find all the necessary information for both pilots and controllers regarding training, exams, tutorial about a variety of topics, links to external sites where  to find useful informations about flying and controlling and the most common F.A.Q. about the training department . Furthermore you'll find link to the IVAO Academy and to the IVAO R&R, mostly to the topics concerning exams and training.

The Training Department, within the division, takes care of the training of all users. It is formed by various staff members, all together taking part in the process of training ATC and pilots. The Department is formed by a TC (Training Coordinator), a TAC (Training Assistant Coordinator) and up to 8 TA (Training Advisors). The TC along with the TAC handle the department. All the TAs help TC and TAC in all the duties (exams, training sessions, preparing, publishing and updating documents training related, etc). The Training Department, even if formed by several people, works as a unit whose main goal is to train users and help them throughout their virtual careers both as pilots and ATC. Divisional help, outside the TD, comes from the I.I.A.S., the pilot trainers and the local trainers who take care of pilots and ATC training respectively, working close together with the TD, sharing the same goal: to train users.
