Welcome to the IVAO Italy Aviation School.

Unique for Italy division, these courses are made for all those users willing to learn, through Flight Simulator, to fly “as real as it gets” in the IVAO virtual aviation world.

You will have the opportunity to undertake a “virtual pilot career” starting with the basics of VFR flight all the way to the complex management of IFR flight, or simply to improve your aeronautical knowledge and flight techniques.

The lessons will be made ​​only at night (generally from 21LT to 23LT) monday through friday.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING

1.       In the "UTENTE" field enter only your  FIRST AND LAST NAME used to register on the IVAO network. If the name filled in doesn't match the user VID, the request will be deleted. (You will be notified via e-mail).  Of course, if you filled in the form with a different name than the one used to register, it means that in one case or the other you used a fake name, and this is not good!

2.       In the "E-MAIL" field enter your  e-mail address (a valid one since is the only mean the scholl staff has to reach you).

3.       In the "CATEGORIA" field, chose the course you wish to attend through the drop down menu (Training PP for the basic course in preparation for the PP exam, training SPP for the intermediate course in preparation for the SPP exam and  training CP for the advanced course in preparation for the CP exam), remembering that:

a)   To join the  BASIC course you must have at least 25 hours of on-line time as pilot (IvAp time) and have passed the AFS theoretical exam (Advanced Flight Student) mainly based on IvAp software knowledge. You can check your status visiting this web page.

The  BASIC course will last about 2 months (with 2 lessons a week). The instructor will coordinate with his students lessons days and time  via e-mail.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: for those willing to take the Private Pilot practical test at the end of the course,  the minimum hours required to apply for the exam in the Italian Division are 100 hours on line as pilot and phraseology must be in ENGLISH only.

b)    To join the INTERMEDIATE course you must hold the Private Pilot rating.

The course will last at the most 4 – 6 months, varying in accordance with the skill level of pilots.

For those willing to take the Senior Private Pilot practical test at the end of the course,  the minimum hours required to apply for the exam in the Italian Division are 150 hours on line as pilot and you must hold the Private Pilot rating for at least 60 days.

c)    To join the ADVANCED course you must hold the Commercial Pilot rating.

The course will last about 2 months, again varying in accordance with the skill level of pilots.

For those willing to take the Commercial Pilot practical test at the end of the course,  the minimum hours required to apply for the exam in the Italian Division are 250 hours on line as pilot and you must hold the Senior Private Pilot rating for at least 60 days.

4.       In the "VID" field plese enter only your IVAO REGISTRATION NUMBER (6 DIGITS).  You should avoid any other things such as the Website password, the IVAN password, your mobile phone number, etc, etc…  Any request with an incorrect Vid will be deleted. (You will be notified via e-mail)

5.       In the "OGGETTO" field just file "IIAS registration".

6.      In the “MESSAGGIO” field file at your own discrection additional information useful for the school staff like preferred days and time to attend the courses, a seconfd e-mail address if you have one, special requests, etc…

7.       Once the application has been sent  YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA E-MAIL of the correct registration within 3 days. Thence, check carefully you have filled in the correct e-mail address. If you don't get a reply after 3 days, resend the form. If after a week you still don't get any reply, fill in this FORM and tell us about the problem. If there are a lot of requests , you will also be informed about the approximate waiting time. Attention: when you will be called for the beginning of your course, you will have 1 week to confirm your participation. (Except summer vacation, Christmas etc, etc….)
